ATO Lab uses a novel ultrasonic atomization technology, which is a uniquie and compact machine compared to conventional Gas Atomizer for metal powders production. This breakthrough solution allows you to quickly produce free-flowing metal powders with narrow particle size distribution.
For powder manufacturing, this tool supports Wide range of alloys including:
- Titanium-based alloys
- Steel (AISI316L)
- Nickel Alloys (In-718, In-625)
- Aluminum Alloys (Al4047)
- Platinum Alloys (PtRu10)
- Copper Alloys (CuNi3Si)
- Silver Alloys, Zirconium, tantalum and many more. Technically any metal / alloys with melting point lower than 3000°C can be converted into powder.
Powders produced using ATO Lab have High sphericity / circularity enabling free flowing, low oxygen level and unchanged chemical composition when compared to powders manufactured using conventional Gas Atomisation.
The powder size ranges from 15 µm to 120 µm and 80% of the produced Metal Powders can be readily used for your applications including brazing, thermal spraying, powder coating, laser cladding, chemical synthesis, powder metallurgy, and Additive Manufacturing.
